Three new N-Eupex couplings and optimised flexible components

Flender is expanding the portfolio of its versatile coupling series N-Eupex by introducing three new types. The new merchandise allow customers extra flexibility of their systems with out shedding the compact design and excessive load capacity of a pin coupling.
The new N-Eupex ERN is equipped with a torque limiter, which offers much more
safety within the drivetrain in many applications. The coupling variant allows customers to
specify a most torque in order that important torques for the motor and output machine
are not transmitted. Machines and techniques are protected against overload and
harm, thus significantly rising system availability.
With the N-Eupex B plus clamping factor, Flender introduces a second new
coupling that ensures frictionally engaged clamping connections. In this case, the
plain, cylindrical machine shaft end is related to the coupling hub via a clamping

distances, the DKS is the shortest attainable double-cardanic solution for the market.
The shortened general size permits cost-optimized use with a small shaft distance
dimension without dropping the advantages of a double-cardanic coupling connection.
New elastomers for the pin couplings round off the modular extensions. In addition
to the beforehand used rubber elements made of NBR, Flender now also presents
elastomers made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Following the torque
