AVT Reliability enhances digital monitoring

AVT Reliability’s Machine Sentryhas enhanced its Cloud-based condition monitoring providing with the launch of Machine Sentry2.5.
The latest developments enhance Android applications of the system and include integration with Bluetooth low power (LE) sensors from any producer, support for brand new, superior oil high quality and vibration sensors and a simplified measurement import software programme interface (API).
In addition to employing MSF-1, a Machine Sentry sensor, firms utilizing the Android software can now add any brand of sensor to the system, by simply copying the sensor definition to the Android device’s inside storage and opening it. Once loaded, the new sensor will have the power to collect measurements in the same method as MSF-1.
Before enables enhanced oil quality and vibration monitoring functionality with the addition of two new compatible sensors. The Tandelta oil quality sensor, linked via the Tandelta OQD Express show, means the oil condition can be monitored in situ with out having to extract a sample and send it to the lab. Wear or contamination is measured in actual time to an accuracy of 0.001%.
